Jaime Mayfield fires up her stove in southeast Missouri with her sculptor/professor husband, Chris, and “mini-me” son, Giovanni. Originally from Iowa, Jaime grew up shucking corn and snapping green beans at the kitchen counter while pretending to host cooking shows. She’s a self-taught cook and claims her favorite food group is summer. She started the Seasonal Veg Head as a way to keep track of and share her seasonal-focused recipes and to expand her knowledge of food and food issues.
